One week ago I was looking for an easy JavaScript-based and fully customizable slideshow, that I could use for another wordpress theme.
I found a promising JQuery slideshow here, but I missed the Ajax loading of images and and an autoslide ability. So I looked at the code and tried some quick and dirty enhancements.
In the following you will find a working JQuery slider with downloadable example code and a live demo.
Here you can download the code of the JQuery slideshow example. The most important things happen in the JavaScript part of the html file, where you can determine the dimensions of your slides an some fadein and fadeout timings.
